Troy Bailey scored all 4 goals as The Dragons beat Wombwell JFC 4-1.
All four goals came in the first half as Wombwells defence struggled to handle the quick passing and powerful runs that they were faced with.
Troys first 2 goals were both due to his strength and perseverance, first bundling throught the Wombwell defence to score, then, shortly after, running half the length of the pitch to beat the keeper.
His Hat-Trick was complete after excellent work from Connor Element playing the ball through the Wombwell defence to the feet of the on-form striker, who then placed the ball cooly into the corner.
The fourth goal was again created by Connor Element, playing a pass to the edge of the area. Troy Bailey and Nathan Hudson both raced to the ball but Troy got there first to beat the keeper and score his 16th goal of the season.
Wombwell rallied in the second half and put the home side under pressure. They scored earlier into the second half to make it 4-1 but couldn't break down the Dragons defence any further with Tommy Lee Woolley making a stunning save from a long range effort.
Further chances came the Dragons way but none were converted and the game finished 4-1. A deserved victory fror the team who are really beginning to play good passing, entertaining football and all the team deserves all the praise they get.
A great captains performance earned Jack Cartwright man of the match.
